6:50 - Doowney with the layup!!! 6 secs left. USC Leads 65-64! Vandy has called timeout. They'll have one final shot. Ogilvy missed the front ends of 2 1-and-1's to give USC a chance to take the lead.
6:45 - Baniulis is on fire! Another 3-pointer gives USC a 63-61 lead with 1:03 left. USC just missed a shot and Vandy rebounded and called a t/o. EB has 19 points. Oops! Foster just hit a triple for Vandy with 50.8 secs left. Vandy leads 64-63. They calkled t/o. Foster is a great shooter.
6:40 - We've reached the fourth and final media t/o with 3:47 left. The score is tied at 58-58. Downey and Fredrick have the last 2 baskets by USC. The conest has gone back and forth most of the 2H. The largest lead for either team in the 2H is 5 points. It's been a battle.
6:30 - It's look like this one will go to the wire. Vandy leads 51-49 at the third media timeout with 7:26 left in the 1H. They just hit a 3 to complete a 5-point run. USC needs to box out better.
6:20 - The crowd is on its feet. USC leads 46-43 with 11:54 Left thanks to 6 quick points. Downey just scored his first field goal of the game. The building is shaking right now. 5:05 - We're almost underway. The starters have been introduced. USC will gave Downey, Fredrick, Archie, Day and Baniulis on the floor at the start of the game. We'll see if they can stop Ogilvy.
4:40 P.M. - We're at the Colonial Center for today's key SEC basketball game between suddenly red hot USC and Vanderbilt. USC comes into the game with a two-game winning streak, having beaten UGA and Ole Miss. But it's been a week since USC has played, so we'll see if they've lost some momentum. Vandy has been a horrendous road team this season. If USC pulls this one out, they could very well be 6-4 in the SEC heading to Gainesville later this month.
