9:20 - After retiring 10 in a row, Johnson gives up a single to start the 10th. But he sets down the next 3 hitters. We go to the bottom of the 10th with the score tied at 1-1.
9:20 - Here we go. Fastball. Smoak fouls it off. Ball. It almost hit Smoak. 1-1. Strike on the outside corner. 1-2. Strike three. Smoak down. 2 outs. Enders up. He was the hero against ECU a couple of weeks ago. Wild pitch! Runners move up a base. Now at 2&3. Winning run 90 feet away. 5-3 grundout. FREE BASEBALL. We go to the 10th tied at 1-1.
9:10 - Base hit by Darnell to RF. Runners on 1&2, 1 out. Smoak up. Here comes to PC coach. Pitching change. Double switch. Harmon now pitching for PC. He's a RHP. He'll face Smoak, who is 2-for-3 tonight with a double, single and walk.
9:05 - We go to the bottom of the 9th with the score tied at 1-1. Top of the order for USC. Havens out U-3. Wingo up. He walks. Wingo has reached three times tonight on 2 BB and HBP. Darnell up.
9:00 - USC out in the 8th. WE GO TO THE NINTH TIED AT 1-1. Johnson just retired his 8th batter in a row since replacing Thomas in the 6th. He came in with a 1.86 ERA in 9.2 IP, so he's going to lower that, it appears, barring a total collapse. 2 outs in the top of the 9th. 9 in a row for CuJo.
8:55 - Johnson works another perfect inning. He's retired all 7 batters he's faced. We go to the bottom of the 8th still tied at 1-1. We now have 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th.
8:50 - Nothing for USC in the 7th. Smoak walked with 2 outs but a 6-4 FC ended the inning. We go to the 8th tied at 1-1.
8:40 - Johnson works a perfect 7th. We've reached 7th-inning stretch time. It's still tied at 1-1. Wingo, Darnell, Smoak due up.
8:35 - We go to the bottom of the 6th. USC out 1-2-3. Havens is 0-for-3 tonight with a walk. USC only has 4 hits, 3 of them singles. We go to the 7th with the score tied at 1-1.
8:33 - Thomas still pitching here in the 6th. He has 6 K's, a new career high. Here comes Tanner. Curtis Johnson is the new P for USC. Thomas' line: 5.2 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 6 K, 2 BB, 86 pitches. Good performance by the LHP from Lexington. But he can't win or lose it right now with the score tied at 1-1.
8:28 - Enders base hit to RF! Run scores. Game is tied at 1-1. But the PC 2B just made a great catch on a foul pop by Disher. He can't catch a break. We go to the 6th with USC and PC tied at 1-1.
8:25 - Pitching change for PC. Hill is out. I'm sure the USC hitters are glad to see him on the bench. 4.1 IP, 3 H, 5 BB, 4 K. Runners at 1&3, 1 out. Enders up.

8:15 - Thomas issued a two-out walk in the top of the 5th but struckout PC's leadoff hitter for the final out. We go to the bottom of the fifth with PC still leading, 1-0
8:05 - Havens lines to left. Nice running catch by the PC LF. We go to the fifth with PC still leading, 1-0.
8:00 - We're in the bottom of the 4th. Runners on the corners, 2 outs. Kail walked and raced to third on a wild pitch. Crisp just walked. Crisp goes to 2nd on wild pitch. Merrifield up. He walks. Bases loaded for Havens. USC needs a clutch hit badly.
7:45 - Smoak was also caught looking at strike three. USC wasted a golden opportunity to score in ther bottom of the third. Thomas fanned the side in the top of the 4th. PC leads 1-0.
7:40 - We're in he bottom of the third. Bases loaded. 1 out. Darnell up. Darnell strikes out on a wicked curve on the outside corner. Smoak up.
7:30 - Thomas gets out of the 3rd giving up just the one run. Presbyterian leads, 1-0. Crisp, Merrifield and Havens due.
7:20 - Justin Smoak led off the bottom of the 2nd with a double but he didn't score. He went to third on a sacrifice but a strikeout and groundout ended the rally. The second batter in the top of the third hit a solo homer to give Presbyterian a 1-0 lead.
7:10 - USC goes down 1-2-3 in the bottom of the 1st. We're in the top of the second right now. Thomas is throwing the ball well. There's another 1-2-3 inning. We go to the bottom of the 2nd, 0-0.
7:05 - We're underway at Sarge Frye Field. Craig Thomas whipped through the top of the first in quick fashion. 4-3, F-8, 6-3. We go to the bottom of the first with the score 0-0. Havens leads off for USC.
6:20 P.M. - We're live at Sarge Frye Field for Monday night's USC-Presbyterian baseball game at Sarge Frye Field. As you may know, this game is a makeup of the Gardner-Webb rainout. Here is USC's starting lineup:
