7:30 - There's another walk. Bases are loaded, 1 out. When Dyson throws strikes he's fine. He just had to get more consistent. Strikeout! That's big right there. 2 outs.
7:25: Dyson working here in the T2. But he's had some control problems. He hit a batter and just walked another. Wofford has runners on 1&2 with 1 out. Calvi out for a chat.
7:15: Bunt single for Merrifield. He steals second. Smoak up. There it goes!! Titanic blast to RF. 2-run HR. 16-game hitting streak for Smoak. He now has 53 career HR. Darnell follows with a double off the LF wall. But he dies at third. We go to the T2 with USC leading, 2-0.
7:10 - We're underway at SFF. Dyson sets Wofford down in order in the T1 on a U-3, F-9, F-8. We go to the B1 with the score 0-0.
6:45 - Here is USC's starting lineup for tonight's game with current stats:
Havens - 6 (.391-12 HR-41 RBI)
Merrifield - 8 (.294-3-18)
Smoak - 3 (.381-13-40)
Darnell - 5 (.318-13-56)
Disher - 2 (.293-14-42)
Lail - 9 (.273-3-19)
Bangs - DH (.333-1-2)

Dyson - P (4-0, 5.57 ERA, 21.0 IP, 19 hits, 14 runs, 20 K, 15 BB, .257 OBA)
6:25 - We're here at Sarge Frye Field for tonight's South Carolina-Wofford baseball game. First pitch at 7 p.m. We don't have the starting lineups yet, but Sam Dyson will start for USC. Dyson is 4-0 with a 5.57 ERA in 21.0 IP this season. This will be his fifth start of the season. This is a big game for USC because it falls right before a SEC road series. The Gamecocks are chartering to LSU tomorrow for a three-game weekend series in Baton Rouge. USC leads the all-time series, 67-22-1. USC swept all three games from Wofford last season, including one game in the NCAA Regional. We'll have the starting lineup shortly.
