3:58 - The coaches and umpires are meeting at home plate. We're almost ready for baseball here at SFF. Obviously, after dropping last night's series opener, USC has to win today. Right now, USC is 11-11 in the SEC and tied for fifth place in the SEC East. There's '2001', so the Gamecocks are close to taking the field.

3:25 - We're here at Sarge Frye Field for Saturday's USC-Florida baseball game. It's Game 2 of a 3-game series. Obviously, USC must play a lot better than they did last night if they want to beat the Gators. USC has to find a way to control UF's 'small-ball' today. UF had six stolen bases, three scarifice hits and four walks. If you're looking for major changes in USC's lineup, you'll be disappointed. Here it is:

Havens - 6 (.385-13 HR-44 RBI)
Merrifield - 8 (.297-3-20)

Lail- 9 (.257-4-22)
Crisp - 7 (.312-1-13)
Enders - 2 (.257-5-23)
Wingo - 4 (.230-6-13)

Atwood - P (4-2, 4.22 ERA, 53.1 IP, 44 hits, 28 runs, 44 K's, 24 BB, .234 OBA)
